This advanced program is meticulously engineered for experienced rebreather divers who are ready to venture deeper while maintaining maximum clarity and safety. You will be trained to conduct dives to a maximum depth of 45 meters (150 feet) using Trimix diluent to mitigate gas narcosis and a planned decompression obligation of up to 10 minutes.
This course transitions you from a recreational rebreather diver to a technical professional, focusing on the safest possible bridge to deep-water environments.
Narcosis Management: Utilize Trimix (helium-enriched) diluent gas to maintain a clear head and reduce gas density, which is critical for safe performance below 30 meters.
Controlled Decompression: Master the entry into staged decompression with a strict 10-minute limit, allowing for deeper exploration while ensuring highly efficient and safe ascent procedures.
Extended Bottom Times: Leverage rebreather technology to its full potential, staying longer at depth with the confidence of advanced gas management.
Unit Proficiency: Deepen your unit-specific mastery of systems like the JJ-CCR, Inspiration, or Liberty, focusing on technical setup and troubleshooting.
Key Benefits
Extend your diving range from 45m
Learn planned CCR decompression with controlled procedures
Get early exposure to trimix without the complexity of normoxic or hypoxic levels
Build confidence with bailout strategies
Strengthen buoyancy, trim, and loop control under realistic decompression conditions
A perfect stepping stone into CCR Normoxic Trimix (60M)
You will develop the skills and discipline needed to execute short, controlled decompression dives on your CCR, using both Air/Nitrox and Limited Trimix as breathing gases.
Planning and executing mandatory decompression dives
PO₂ management at depth (setpoint ≤1.3 bar)
Diluent selection for both Air/Nitrox and Limited Trimix
Executing decompression schedules safely and efficiently
Handling bailout emergencies with staged decompression
Managing max 10-minute decompression obligations
Unit-specific configuration and skill mastery
Gas analysis and depth planning (EAD/END limits)
Max Depth (Limited Trimix): 45 metres (145 feet)
Maximum Mandatory Decompression: 10 minutes
Loop PO₂ Limit: ≤ 1.3 bar; absolute max 1.4 bar.
Bailout PO₂ Limit: ≤ 1.6 bar
Max Decompression Obligation: 10 minutes
Unit-Specific: Training completed on your exact CCR model
