Why Choose the RAID Advanced Decompression Diver (50m Trimix) Course?

The RAID Advanced Decompression Diver (50m Trimix) course builds directly on your previous decompression training and introduces you to more capable, stable, and safer deep-diving gas strategies using trimix. At this level, you will refine your existing decompression skills, improve your depth performance, and learn to manage multi-gas procedures with precision.

What This Course Helps You Achieve

  • Confident execution of mixed-gas decompression to 50 metres / 165 feet

  • Reduced narcosis and improved clarity at deeper depths

  • More efficient ascent planning and advanced gas-switch discipline

  • Enhanced buoyancy, trim, and stress-resistant control during long stops

  • The skill base required for 60m Normoxic Trimix Diver training

What You'll Learn in the Advanced Decompression Diver Course

The RAID Advanced Decompression Diver (50m Trimix) program deepens your knowledge and ability to operate safely on structured decompression dives using helium-based breathing gas.

Training includes:

  • Planning and executing multi-stage decompression dives to 50m

  • Understanding END limits, gas density, and helium advantages

  • Selecting trimix blends appropriate for depth and task loading

  • Developing precision ascent discipline with controlled stops

  • Emergency procedures for deep mixed-gas diving

  • Stage cylinder and gas-switch protocols under realistic conditions

  • Dive team communication at extended-range depth

  • Problem-solving strategies under narcosis and task load

This course develops the control and capability required for deeper normoxic trimix diving.
